Lost and Found
If you have lost or found an animal, call Manatee County Animal Services to report details at 941-742-5933.

Contact area shelters to file a report with them:
Humane Society of Manatee County at 941-747-8808. Bishop SPCA at 941-792-2863

Have the animal scanned at a vets’ office or a shelter for a microchip which will lead to the owner’s information.

Hang posters with the animal's description in as many areas as possible. Give as much description as you can and include a photo if you can.

Place an ad in your local newspaper - most are free.

Pet Food Pantry
Thanks to donations from local vendors and individuals, the Humane Society of Manatee County maintains a pet food pantry located at our downtown adoption center to help feed at large cat colonies and for those having temporary financial problems.
